Belarusian citizens who received privatization vouchers "Property" (IPCH) between 1993 and 1997 may continue using them today. The unused securities fully retain their relevance and legal force.
Voucher owners can use them in several ways: exchange them for shares of joint-stock companies, give them to close relatives, or pass them on by inheritance and will.
Exchanging vouchers for shares gives the right to participate in managing the company and receive dividends from its profits. The procedure is carried out at authorized branches of JSC "ASB Belarusbank", where a citizen needs only to present his/her passport and the original certificate of the vouchers.
Before visiting the bank, it is advisable to select an enterprise. Over 130 JSCs from various industries are available for exchange, including 38 companies from the Gomel region. The full list of enterprises is available on the website of JSC "ASB Belarusbank" or directly at the institution's branches.
A list of regional enterprises offering shares in exchange for vouchers, as well as information about dividends paid in 2025 and their exact amounts, is published on the website of the "Gomeloblast" Committee. The availability and amount of payouts depend directly on the profit of the specific company and the number of shares held by the citizen.
An alternative option is to exchange vouchers for shares and then sell them on the stock exchange, taking into account market risks and demand (for example, in 2026, shares of JSC "HIMREMONT" were selling for 200 rubles per share). According to a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the deadline for exchanging "Property" vouchers has been officially extended to December 31, 2030, so citizens should take advantage of this time to extract real value from these securities.
