In the forests of Belarus, special signs with information about forestry works have begun to be installed en masse. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Ministry of Forestry.

"Now citizens will not have to look for contacts of forestries to find out what forestry activity is being carried out on a particular forest area. The information is posted on the object's passport," the press service noted.

The sign also contains a QR code that can be used to find additional information: learn more about the forestry activity or logging, familiarize yourself with a map of prohibitions and restrictions on visiting forests, order firewood online, and read what to do if a person gets lost in the forest.

The information signs are being installed according to a single layout and sample. As noted by the agency, the main goal is to increase the effectiveness of work with the population, as well as to help those who get lost in the forest.
