In Minsk from September 30 to October 2 the II International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus" is taking place. The exhibition area covers 20,000 square meters, and among the participants are representatives from more than 40 countries. Guests were surprised on the first day of the exhibition when they learned about the BELTA correspondents.
At the Minsk International Exhibition Center, over 160 enterprises are presenting their developments and products in the Belarus pavilion. The exhibition features achievements in such sectors of the country as machine building, microelectronics, petrochemistry, and others.
The main theme is industrial cooperation. Karkanovich met with the heads of delegations from regions of the Russian Federation.
New solutions for the energy sector were presented at "INNOPROM. Belarus."
For example, the Minsk Tractor Plant introduced a newcomer – the BELARUS-5425 with a power of 542 horsepower. Head of the advertising and exhibition organization office of JSC "MZT" Alexey Shevchenko said that this is the second most powerful tractor of its classic configuration in the world. The full cycle – from development to implementation – took about four years. The tractor will allow optimizing the work of large agricultural enterprises: in a single pass it can perform the volume of work that would require 10–15 medium-class machines.
A tractor with a power of 542 horsepower was presented by MZT at the "INNOPROM. Belarus" exhibition. MZT has negotiated with a company from the Ulyanovsk region for supplying components.
Powerful machinery can work with wide plows and other aggregates. Built-in precision agriculture systems help coordinate the operation of the tractor and attached equipment with an accuracy of several centimeters. This allows reducing the number of passes, avoiding gaps and overlaps during sowing and fertilizer application, as well as decreasing the need for manual labor. Alexey Shevchenko added that automation increases comfort of operation: the operator remains responsible for controlling the machine and monitoring safety.
MZT is working on creating a powerful six-cylinder engine.

MZT is already preparing for the serial production of the BELARUS-5425. Preliminary orders have come in from Russia. Its potential is also considered promising in Kazakhstan, where there are large agricultural lands. "We hope that it will run on every continent and in every country in the world," emphasized the head of the bureau.
A six-cylinder engine with a nominal power of 450-550 horsepower has been developed by the Minsk Motor Plant for a new tractor variant. It is currently undergoing testing on a tractor. Approximately one year was spent on development, and another half-year is still required to manufacture special components and units. "We are currently at the stage of creating a prototype, and we plan to launch the engine into series production by 2029," said Nikita Vaghan, a specialist in exhibition activities at the enterprise. He also noted that the engine will be installed on large tractors, harvesters, as well as agricultural, construction, and road-civic machinery.
BELAZ presented an operator workstation for remote control of mining equipment at the exhibition. Visitors can see how an operator from the stand controls the 90-ton robotic dump truck BELAZ-7558R. At this time, the machine is located hundreds of kilometers away at the "Sitnitskoe" test site in the Brest region.
General Director of OJSC "BELAZ" - the managing company of the "BELAZ-HOLDING" holding - Sergey Lesin emphasized that the main task now is to test the technology under real conditions. "During this year we have been refining the system to achieve maximum productivity and safety. Now the next stage is operation," he said.
The technology will be presented at the "Sitnitskoe" test site on October 1st. "Tomorrow around 50 representatives of potential customers will visit the Brest region and see our test site where traditional dump trucks operate. Over three days, both autonomous technologies and solutions in the field of alternative energy for mining transport will be presented at meetings," shared Sergey Lesin.
At the BELAZ stand, gas-powered, hydrogen, electric, and hybrid mining trucks with a lifting capacity ranging from 90 to 220 tons are on display, as well as developments for underground mining operations. Among the new releases is the joint project "Hydrogen BELAZ" with "N2 Engineering." Visitors can see a mockup of a hybrid hydrogen energy system for a 220-ton mining truck and its infrastructure for hydrogen refueling.
Central place in MAZ's exhibition is occupied by transport using alternative fuels and electric traction. One of the exhibits is the all-wheel-drive chassis MAZ-630223 with a 6x6 wheel formula. "It can serve as a base for installing various superstructures. We closely cooperate with many Russian factories producing special equipment, and we believe that this solution has great prospects, in particular in the Russian Federation," said Deputy Commercial Director - Head of the Marketing Department of the enterprise Oksana Mikheeva.
Also presented at the exhibition are the tractor unit MAZ-64A02N with a 6x4 wheel formula for transporting dangerous goods, the city bus MAZ-303948, and electric transport: the garbage truck MAZ-59
