Another direction that Viktor Karankevich personally takes responsibility for is the final testing of technology and the launch into series production of the first domestically produced combined roller reel press selector. The experienced prototype was presented to the President during a working trip to the Berezovsky district this summer.

"For each press, about 4,000 rolls have already been made. We continue with trials," reported the vice-prime minister.

President Alexander Lukashenko asked how this equipment performs compared to foreign equivalents.

"We say that it is not worse than the imported one. Even in some specific positions it is even better," assured Viktor Karankevich.

Next, Industry Minister Andrey Kuznetsov delivered a report. The President had assigned him the task of mastering the production of high-quality hydraulics in Belarus, which is needed by many industrial enterprises across the country.

"We held a meeting on our main campaign 'SALEO' in Dzerzhinsk after your assignment. We invited not only our subordinate enterprises but also private ones," said the minister.

Alexander Lukashenko, in response, ordered that all necessary people be brought in, up to foreign experts. "If we need someone from abroad - we will buy them, pay for them, if there is an opportunity to attract anyone," he said.

Andrey Kuznetsov reported that in the plan for producing domestic hydraulics, results already exist in the country. For example, 80% of the equipment manufactured at MTZ is equipped with domestic hydraulics, as well as "Gomselmash". Parallelly, additional work is being carried out to improve quality. The Minister is confident that within the coming year, upon implementation of the Head of State's assignment, a worthy result will be shown.
