The corresponding MART Resolution No. 48 was adopted to increase the share of domestic products on shelves. ‼️ Key changes for stores ⚡️ Belarusian goods take priority: The minimum number of varieties, models, and colors of products on the shelf (mandatory assortment minimum) must now be met exclusively with Belarusian goods. 🔴 Imports — only above the norm: Foreign products can be brought in and displayed, but only in excess of the mandatory requirement. Previously, there was a relaxation that allowed goods from EAEU countries to count toward the mandatory list; now it has been abolished. ❗️ Exceptions for shortages: If a particular product is not produced in Belarus at all or is produced in insufficient quantities, imports (including from countries outside the EAEU) will be allowed to count toward the requirement. 🎯 Who it affects: The new rules are mandatory for all types of retail outlets — from large supermarkets and discounters to kiosks and mobile shops. The only exceptions are certain categories of entities specified in Council of Ministers Resolution No. 703. What businesses must do by September 10: During the 15-day transition period, retail entities must take two key actions: ❇️ Revise assortment lists to reflect the new requirements and coordinate them with local executive authorities.
❇️ Physically ensure that the required quantity of Belarusian goods is actually present on store shelves.
