From diamonds to peat: what interested "INNOPROM" Russian business

A multibrand service center for servicing Belarusian equipment plans to open in the Leningrad region. Yakutia is offering Belarus participation in diamond cutting projects. The Kirov region of Russia has shown interest in Belarus's experience in developing peat deposits. This is just a small part of the agreements at the "INNOPROM Belarus" forum.

On October 2, on the final day of work, they will count the number of signed documents.

The forum began on September 30. These days have passed unnoticed — so densely they were filled with meetings, negotiations and the signing of agreements. The results will be presented very soon, but today work continues at the site. Especially since "INNOPROM" is not only a place where business and company leaders meet, but also a space where a rich business program is unfolding simultaneously.

The day before, a meeting of the Belarus-Kazakhstan Business Council took place, during which they discussed what had already been accomplished in 2026 on the bilateral track and which projects are currently being implemented. Today a similar event is being organized here at the "INNOPROM" venue with the participation of Kyrgyzstan. A meeting of the Council of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Commonwealth of Independent States will also take place.

Joint exhibition events will be discussed, as exhibitions are excellent presentations of one's capabilities and products. Of course, there will also be discussions about chamber interactions and, without doubt, more about the use of electronic systems that exist within the Commonwealth of Independent States.

At the exhibition, stands from participating countries of Russian regions and Belarusian enterprises are present — there are 160 of them.

Aisen Nikolaev, head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): "I liked the stands of BELAZA, 'Amkodora', MAZ. We met their managers, discussed supplies. Large load vehicles BELAZA in Yakutia. Yakutia is one of the largest regions of consumers of BELAZA products. Almost a thousand more large trucks of BELAZ operate on the territory of Yakutia."

Nikolai Rogozhnik, Consul General of Belarus in St. Petersburg: "A meeting of the joint commission on the development of cooperation between Belarus and the Leningrad Region was held, chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Snoopkov, and the Governor of the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation, Alexander Drozdенко. Issues of interaction in the industrial sector, the agro-industrial complex, and tourism were considered. The organization of the 'Friendship Trail' was discussed.

The business program here, at the INNOPROM venue, starts at 10:00. The exhibition is open to all visitors."
