Autumn brings not only gold and crimson to the land of Kostyukovichi, but also a special, poignant feeling of memory. The day of liberation of the district from German fascist invaders is not just a memorable date, but a holiday with tears in one's eyes, filled with pride for the resilience and courage of our people, and a bright sorrow for those who did not return from the battlefields.

On the eve of the Day of Liberation of Kostyukovichi District from German fascist invaders, on September 26, a Lesson of Courage was held at the burial site of the soldier-internationalist A. I. Listratenko for students of the GOU "Secondary School No. 1 of Kostyukovichi".

During the event, words of gratitude were spoken to those who contributed to the liberation of the district and the preservation of peace on native soil. Special attention was paid to the fate of our compatriot A. I. Listratenko, a graduate of the first school, who fulfilled his military duty with honor in Afghanistan.

The participants of the event honored the memory of the deceased with a minute of silence and laid live flowers at the memorial site.

Such lessons serve as an important reminder of the need to carefully preserve historical memory and pass it on to future generations.
