The organizer of the professional competition "Best Mentor" and "Best in Profession among Young Workers" is the Belarusian Federation of Trade Unions. The competition is being announced for the first time at the republican level.

The purpose of the competition is to develop mentorship, identify effective practice-oriented approaches in individual work with young workers, generalize and disseminate advanced mentorship experience, and increase employees' motivation to engage in mentorship. A feature of the competition is the division of participants into several categories according to industry specificity. This approach will allow an objective assessment of workers' professional achievements.

Thus, the title "Best Mentor" will be awarded in three categories: in the production sphere (industry, construction, agriculture), in the infrastructure and services sphere (energy, transport, communications, housing and communal services, forestry, trade, banking),
