Dear rural workers, employees of the agro-industrial complex of the Brest district!

The next, but very important stage of the agricultural year has come to an end - the harvesting campaign. Every year, the harvest tests our workers for strength, and the past season was no exception. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the farmers of the Pribyuzhye region made every effort to gather the harvest. Thanks to your professionalism and perseverance, the Brest district was able to qualitatively and promptly harvest grain from the fields.

In the current season, the farmers of Pribyuzhye harvested almost 19 thousand hectares of grain and legume crops, as well as more than 4.9 thousand hectares of winter rapeseed. The total grain harvest of grain and legume crops was almost 76 thousand tons of grain at a yield of 40 centners per hectare. The gross production of rapeseed exceeded 16.3 thousand tons of oilseeds. The yield of winter rapeseed was higher than last year and reached 33.3 centners per hectare. Among the farms, the leader in grain and legume crop yield was OAO "Ostromechovo", where they received more than 51 centners per hectare. And in terms of rapeseed yield, the best results were achieved at OAO "Za Mir" - 42.5 centners per hectare.

It is no secret that the economic basis of our district is agriculture. The workers of the agrarian sector demonstrate high results year after year, growing bread, sugar beets, vegetables, fruits, producing milk and meat. Many agrarians have been awarded honorary, including the highest, awards for excellent performance.

Today, we can confidently say that the district has everything necessary for further progressive development. A solid material and technical base has been created, there are competent and initiative leaders, and solid experience has been accumulated. And the most important resource is our executive and hardworking people. I am convinced that only by working together for the common good will we make our native Pribyuzhye even richer and more beautiful. And this means making a significant contribution to strengthening the country's food security. I bow low to you for your dedication to the land, patience, and love for your work!
