First in Belarus. Residents registered as crypto banks in the Hi-Tech Park

Two residents have been registered as crypto banks in the Hi-Tech Park (HTP). The decision was made following a meeting of the HTP Supervisory Board, which took place at the government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, BelTA reports.

At the Supervisory Board meeting, issues of further development of the Belarusian crypto sector were considered. "For more than six months, active rule-making work has been carried out to implement the head of state's decree on the activities of crypto banks, which came into force in July of this year. A number of government resolutions, legal acts of the National Bank and the Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park were adopted. The necessary organizational measures have been implemented to bring to life the ideas laid down in the head of state's decree. And today, the result of all the work done has been the prepared decisions on the registration in the park of the first two crypto banks in the country's history," the Prime Minister said.
