On Saturday, October 17, the agro-town of Ezery took over the baton of the autumn fair marathon. By nine in the morning, Ezery was buzzing: villagers came not just to look around, but to stock up for winter, and there was plenty to choose from. The main purpose of such a fair is to help villagers fill their storerooms for winter in one place. October urges haste, so buyers lingered longest at the trucks with grain and vegetables. Potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions — all of this was loaded onto carts and car trunks, and they shared with each other: "Prices are normal, vegetables are good."
The stall of KSUP "Agrokompleks Svetly" attracted particular interest from local residents, offering tasty and natural meat products of its own production. Buyers willingly queued up for fresh meat and semi-finished products.
Local artists selected a simple repertoire, but right on target: they sang familiar, heartfelt songs that made feet start tapping on their own. Many shoppers, having packed their bags, did not rush to leave — they stayed to listen to the performers of the Ezery Rural Cultural Center and chat with acquaintances from neighboring villages.
The autumn fair marathon in the Cherikov region is not over. If you haven't had time to replenish your supplies or buy something for the table, get your bags and lists ready: already next Saturday, October 24, the district fair will unfold in the agro-town of Rechitsa.
