According to the BELTA correspondent, Minister of Industry Andrei Kuznetsov spoke at a press conference timed to Machine Builder's Day about the results of work for nine months of 2026.

Approaching the holiday — Machine Builder's Day — the ministry has decent results, but there is still a whole quarter ahead, during which it is necessary to bring the indicators up to the level set by the state, emphasized Andrei Kuznetsov.

According to him, as of today, the production volume for the nine months amounts to 97%. At the same time, by the end of the year the ministry plans to exceed the 100% mark both in production volume and in exports. The minister noted that, as of today, exports in three sections amount to 102.1%, and the year is planned to be completed with an indicator above 103%. "Our inventories are decreasing. This cannot but please," emphasized Andrei Kuznetsov.

The head of the ministry pointed out that if production volume exceeds 100%, inventories can be reduced by at least 10–12%. This indicates stable and planned work by managers and enterprise teams. "Therefore, I think the holiday will be worthy. We will award our enterprises, the winners, our workers — from turners to managers, because each has contributed to the development of Belarus's industrial sector," summed up Andrei Kuznetsov.
