In Zhlobino, a meeting of the executive committee took place, with the key theme being the readiness of local organizations, housing infrastructure objects, energy complexes, and agro-industrial enterprises to work during the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027.

By the beginning of autumn, the district achieved a 100 percent readiness indicator in the residential sector. A total of 321 consumer readiness passports and 97 heat source passports were successfully registered. The "Zhilkomserвис два" company ensured the readiness of 32 heat sources and a housing fund consisting of 750 houses. Within the framework of safety checks, 100 percent of flue and vent channels in buildings equipped with gas equipment were verified. This was reported by Yuri Guzov, head of the housing department.

A budget of 1.65 million rubles was allocated for replacing thermal networks. Communal services reconstructed 6.45 kilometers of networks, including objects on Vokhokov Street, in microdistricts #18 and #19 of Zhlobino, as well as in the Luksky agrocity. Through the branch of "Zhlobinvodkanal," 1.422 kilometers of water supply networks were transferred, ensuring the district had quality water at 100 percent.

As noted by Yuri Ivkin, chief engineer of the "Zhlobinsk Electric Networks" branch of RUP "Gomelenergy," the complex of works was completed by the engineers. 9.3 kilometers of high-voltage lines and 155.3 kilometers of lines operating at 0.4-10 kV voltage were repaired, along with 65 substations and distribution points. More than 57 hectares of LEP right-of-way were cleared to protect against weather elements. In case of emergencies, nine mobile autonomous power sources were prepared.

Educational institutions, sports, cultural, and healthcare facilities demonstrated good preparation for the autumn-winter period, completing their procedures ahead of schedule. Alexander Kushnerov, head of the Zhlobinsky inter-district office of the branch of Gosenergennadzor under the Gomel region, noted that Zhlobinsk Electric Networks, GP "Zhlobinmetallurgстро," "Zhlobinka gaz," and "Zhilkomserвис два" received positive assessments for their quality work. At the same time, it was pointed out that individual consumers in the communal sector encountered comments due to incomplete pipe insulation and delays in document submission.

Special attention was paid to the sphere of agriculture. Svetlana Kraptskaya, deputy head of the rural economy and food industry district executive committee, reported that at present not all livestock objects in the district have received readiness passports. To accelerate the pace of work for the farms, large catering organizations in the region—construction, road, and industrial enterprises—were attached to them. District head Sergey Yarets set specific deadlines and objectives for completing the works.

For winter road maintenance, 47 units of snow removal equipment from Zhilkomservis-2 and DRSU-149 have been prepared, and contracts have been concluded for attracting external machinery. Road services have been tasked with maximizing the speed of preparing the sand-salt mixture.

Sergey Yarets emphasized that the implemented measures and coordinated work of all departments should ensure a stable and accident-free passage of the upcoming heating season.

On the state of law and order, the fight against crime and corruption, including on the facilities of the agro-industrial complex of Zhlobin district in 2026, the head of the internal affairs department of the district executive committee, Andrei Malakhov, reported. Over eight months of 2026, the total number of registered criminal offenses in our region decreased (from 595 to 389). During the analyzed period, there is a decrease in the number of crimes registered in rural areas (from 151 to 127). At the same time, the issue of cyber fraud remains relevant. The district head emphasized that the state of law and order in the district indicates the effectiveness of the measures taken, but we cannot stop there.
