From salary increases to new school rules. What changed on September 1 in Belarus?

With the arrival of autumn, a number of new regulations come into force across the country. Here are the main ones.
ECONOMY AND SOCIAL PAYMENTS:
The base rate used to calculate salaries for public sector employees has risen to 300 rubles.
All types of employment pensions are increasing by an average of 5%. The old-age pension will reach 1,125 rubles, a 14.8% increase over the year. The size of the raise is individual.
The funeral benefit has increased by more than 67 rubles. The change is linked to the growth of the average salary, to which the benefit amount is tied.
TRANSPORT AND PRICES:
A new toll rate for travel to Minsk has been set for freight vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes when passing through two or more segments of highways (M2, M3, M4, M6/E28, P1, P23, P28). Payment is calculated using an increasing coefficient.
Certain cigarette brands from the Neman factory have become more expensive by 20 kopecks.
EDUCATION:
Schools have introduced an updated computer science curriculum for students in grades 6–9, including the study of artificial intelligence.
More than 300 educational institutions across the country are transitioning to digital grade books and diaries as part of the "Electronic School" automated system.
Standards for single meals are changing. The single meal in the first shift is called a second breakfast, and in the second shift it is called an afternoon snack, consisting of three courses. Spending on meals will grow by 5%. The installation of vending machines with products from Belarusian manufacturers is permitted.
New features for tenth-graders: boys will begin a 10-hour course on unmanned aerial vehicles, while girls will take a medical training block with a focus on practical skills.
New electives have appeared: "Fundamentals of Financial Literacy" (grades 1–4), "Young Engineer-Physicist" (grade 8), and a music course on playing the flute (grades 1–9).
An official tutor search service is being launched, providing information about their education and the absence of criminal records.
The procedure for inspecting children in schools has been simplified. It is now permitted to be carried out in the presence of a teacher without the mandatory participation of parents.
