In the Kirov District of the Mogilev Region, final preparations are underway for one of the most vibrant cultural events of the autumn. On Saturday, September 26, the Zhilichi Palace and Park Complex will open its doors to participants and guests of the traditional republican festival "Verasnyowski Fest. Palace in Zhilichi". The architectural gem of Belarus will once again be immersed in the atmosphere of the refined 19th century.

For this celebration, the residence of the noble Bulgakov family has undergone a significant transformation. On the estate grounds, major landscaping work on the artificial pond has been fully completed: picturesque rotundas have been built, a pavilion on the island has opened, and elegant pedestrian footbridges have been installed.

A Grand Ball and Opera Classics

The central event of the festival, as tradition dictates, will be a large-scale historical ball. Around 500 professional historical reenactors-dancers from across the republic are expected to arrive in Zhilichi. In the luxurious ballrooms of the palace and on open-air street areas, they will recreate the choreographic traditions of past centuries, whirling in polonaises, waltzes, polkas, and quadrilles. For guests wishing to fully immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere, a rental service for historical costumes and dresses will be organized.

The musical accompaniment for the forum will be provided by leading collectives from the country. The climax of the musical program will be a gala concert by stars of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, who will perform outdoors against the backdrop of the majestic castle columns.

Thematic Zones and Entertainment

• Historical Camps: Performances by military-historical clubs, exhibitions of historical uniforms, and master classes in archery.
• Art and Jewelry Exhibitions: Thematic expositions will be held directly in the restored rooms of the palace.
• Interactive Dungeons: A mystical exhibition of medieval implements titled "Witch Hunt" will operate in the palace cellar.
• City of Masters and Gastronomy: On the adjacent grounds, fair rows of artisans from all over Belarus and food courts will be set up, the key element of which will be the "Svyata Smazhanki" gastro-festival.

To facilitate tourist convenience, the complex's infrastructure has been supplemented with new permanent facilities: a cozy cafe, a bar, and a large souvenir shop have opened in the palace. After the concert program concludes, guests will be treated to an evening disco in the inner courtyard of the estate.
