In Belarus, real wages showed growth based on the results of July 2026. The indicator increased by 9.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
This is evidenced by fresh data provided in their Telegram channel by experts from the Eurasian Development Bank.
At the same time, income growth in the public sector continues to outpace the average figures for the economy, the report says.

The most notable dynamics are observed in the public sector. According to expert estimates, wages here grew by 10.5% on an annual basis. Although the indicator slowed slightly compared to the June jump of 11.8%, it still exceeds the national average. This points to systemic support for doctors, teachers, and civil servants.
The situation will receive an additional boost starting September 1: the state is increasing the base rate for remuneration of employees of budgetary organizations. This decision will directly affect salaries and bonuses, ensuring the preservation of high income dynamics.
Analysts attribute wage growth to the continued strengthening of domestic demand. The higher citizens' incomes, the more actively they spend. In the coming months, this could become a key factor supporting retail trade and the services sector, providing the economy with additional stability.
