The district festival "Dazhynki-2026" took place in the agro-town of Sava, Goretsky district, on September 25. For the guests of the festival, agricultural enterprises and organizations of the Goretsky district created themed farmsteads, tasting and interactive zones, and a festive concert was also held. An awards ceremony was held for the best farmers and specialists of the district, and a park with a sports ground was opened for the residents of the agro-town in honor of the festival.

The leitmotif of the festival was the awarding of the best farmers and specialists of the district. It should be emphasized that the Goretsky district became the first in the region based on the results of the competition for achieving the best indicators in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the category "Production of fiber flax." As noted by the First Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Sergei Savitsky:

"The Goretsky district has achieved excellent results in harvesting grain and leguminous crops, and it can be proud of them, continue to develop, and move forward."

It was also noted that the growth dynamics are visible not only in crop production, but also in livestock farming. In his speech, the First Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee emphasized the importance of the Goretsky district for the region, its important place in the agricultural structure of the Mogilev region.

During his speech, Sergei Konstantinovich read out a welcoming address from the Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Anatoly Isachenko, addressed to rural workers, heads and specialists of farms:

"Your professionalism, composure, love for your work and ability to work for results deserve the deepest respect. The harvest season is a test of organization, cohesion and skill. And you have admirably coped with this responsible task, showing perseverance, discipline and loyalty to the grain-grower's work."

The Chairman of the Goretsky District Executive Committee, Nikolai Orlenok, also thanked the farmers for their selfless work:

"On this day, we pay the deepest respect to the grain growers of the Goretsky district, who grew and harvested the most valuable thing for the country – grain."

According to the chairman of the district executive committee, this year's harvest campaign has been truly productive. The figures speak for themselves: the yield of grain and leguminous crops reached 36.1 centners per hectare. This result is higher than the regional average. The gross grain harvest exceeded 113,000 tons.

In his speech, Nikolai Vladimirovich also noted that behind every result there are specific people: machine operators, drivers, specialists, and farm managers who worked with full dedication for the common result.

“This year, 41 combine operators exceeded a thousand tons of threshed grain, 7 crews threshed more than 2,000 tons, and 2 drivers transported over 4,000 tons of grain each from the combines. 5 youth crews threshed over 1,000 tons of grain, 1 youth crew crossed the 2,000-ton mark, and 4 young drivers transported more than 1,000 tons of grain each,” said the chairman of the Gorki District Executive Committee.

During the festival, a square with a sports ground was solemnly opened in the agro-town of Sava by First Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Sergei Savitsky, Chairman of the Gorki District Executive Committee Nikolai Orlenok, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Natalya Kovaleva, and Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Vladimir Pavlovsky.

During the opening ceremony, the importance of physical health and fostering a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation was noted.

The district festival “Dazhynki-2026” ended with a colorful fireworks display.
