Extremist resources continue to spread unreliable information, attempting to mislead citizens. A recent example appeared recently on TikTok: a video with a catchy headline "Collapse of legendary 'Borisovdrev' tells about alleged bankruptcy of a large industrial enterprise in the district." The AI-generated voice reports that the enterprise has been "officially" declared bankrupt, its property is listed for auction, and hundreds of workers allegedly lost their jobs.

However, despite the loud claims by the authors, they provide not even a single confirmation. Instead of facts, viewers are offered an emotional presentation and the word "officially," which by itself does not make the message reliable.

Nevertheless, simply visiting the enterprise is enough to understand: the picture the authors try to paint in the video doesn't quite match reality. OOO "Borisovdrev" does not look at all like the place that will soon disappear from the industrial map of the district. In the production workshops there is the familiar working noise, employees are occupied with their tasks, products are being produced. An interesting picture emerges: in TikTok the enterprise has already managed to "bankrupt" itself, its property has virtually been sent to auction, and hundreds of workers have been "left without work." But reality completely did not match the scenario invented for social networks.

To verify the information spreading on social networks and leave no room for speculation, journalists directly contacted the company's management. General Director of OOO "Borisovdrev" Pavel Stankevich confidently stated: the information heard in the video has nothing to do with the real situation.

– I want to emphasize unequivocally: all production workshops of the enterprise operate in normal mode. Production is not closed, the enterprise's property and equipment are not put up for sale, mass layoffs or dismissals of employees are not carried out, – notes Pavel Stankevich. – Today more than 500 people work at the enterprise, and the entire team continues to fulfill its production tasks. Information about closing production or mass layoffs of personnel does not correspond to reality.

Moreover, according to the general director, the enterprise shows positive dynamics in main production indicators. Thus, compared to last year, the production growth rate is 134%, and a large part of the produced goods is destined for export. The ratio of the growth rate of labor productivity to the growth rate of wages is 1.24.

• Today we continue to work, develop production and fulfill the set tasks. Therefore, I want to emphasize once again: the enterprise is operating, the workforce is fully staffed, and the information circulating about plant closures and mass layoffs has no basis," Pavel Stankevich emphasized.
