The harvesting of corn for silage and grain at OAO Alekseevichi-Agro is proceeding at a high pace, with equipment hauling hundreds of tons of green mass, and the innovative cultivation technology under the 'duo' system has already demonstrated increased resistance and high yields. On the corn fields, mechanizers and drivers confidently maintain the work pace, thanks to which the farm plans to complete the harvesting of the 'queen of the fields' without delays.

As of September 22, about 1,400 hectares of corn have been harvested for silage

As of today, grain corn at OOO "Alekseevichi-Agro" is planted on an area of 750 hectares, where approximately five hybrid varieties are being grown. Early harvests have begun. According to Vadim Dubrovsky, the results are still surprising, since the weather conditions were dry.

– We planned to obtain lower yields, but as of today even the most high-yielding hybrids are giving around 80 centners per hectare, notes the deputy director of crop science. – This indicates that the grain corn in this year will be higher, and we plan to exceed last year's yield.

During corn harvesting at the silo on one of the farm fields, we met with a combine crew consisting of mechanists Evgeny Bukht and Sergey Mikhnuk. Sergey serves as a combine assistant and is responsible for collecting green mass on the MTZ-3032 tractor.

– I have worked at "Alekseevichi-Agro" for four seasons already in corn preparation. Our team is well-coordinated. The equipment is excellent and reliable. I have been operating a Krone BiG X combine. This combine is equipped with an automatic mowing system called AutoScan, which automatically regulates the cutting length according to specified settings. There are also board computer settings for corn moisture and dryness. Additionally, the combine is equipped with an autopilot that allows for comfortable operation, says senior combineman Evgeny Bukht. – We are harvesting silage at about 700–900 tons per day. I wish all my colleagues fruitful labor days and a great mood.

Combine assistant Sergey Mikhnuk emphasizes that if needed, he can switch to the combine at any moment and continue harvesting the "royal fields."

– We are working actively without delays. Everyone knows their job. The main thing is to collect the crop of high quality and on time, – noted the mechanist.
