Today we can confidently say that Bobruisk is looking toward the future, developing and improving with each day. New art objects and children's playgrounds are appearing in the city, multi-apartment residential buildings are being constructed, and public spaces are being improved. Thus, in accordance with the master plan approved in 2018, a modern residential complex with social infrastructure and trade facilities is to appear at the intersection of Minskaya Street and Georgyevsky Prospekt.

Earlier, a presentation of the detailed development plan was held at the Bobruisk City Executive Committee. Residents of private households in the microdistrict actively participated in the discussion, submitted their proposals, and clarified points of interest regarding construction.

The renovation of the territory raised many questions among residents: they were interested in the timing of the work, the fate of private houses, infrastructure development, and preserving the usual way of life. On October 14, Maxim Gurin, Chairman of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, met with concerned Bobruisk residents to inform them about the project's implementation and answer their pressing questions. The discussion was attended by Maxim Stukalov, First Deputy Chairman of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, specialists from the structural divisions of the executive committee and relevant services.

Residents of the microzone were concerned about the possible demolition of private houses. Maxim Gurin explained in conversation with the citizens:

  • As part of the public discussions,

Anna Derevyanko, a resident of the microdistrict, shared her impressions of the meeting with the city mayor: — Our house was built by my great-grandfather after the war, and all generations of our family have lived here. I like the microdistrict because it is peaceful and cozy, the infrastructure is well developed, and shopping centers are within walking distance. Our family and neighbors are very glad that Maxim Nikolaevich listens to us, understands the situation, and keeps it under his personal control. We hope that our microdistrict will develop, become more comfortable and better.
