The construction of the fourth metro line in Minsk will begin with a six-kilometer section from Bangalore Square to Vnesnyanka. This was learned during a meeting between Deputy Head of Minsk City Utilities Alexander Chernikov and the team of the Minsk Metro Construction Directorate.

— The metro plays a key role in the public transport system, since hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors to the capital use its services every day," emphasized Ivan Mikulsky, director of the Minsk Metro Construction Directorate. — The development of the underground is reflected in the city's master plan, and all project documentation is being created in accordance with the parameters set in it.

Currently, the three stations of the Zelenoluzhskaya line are being built most actively — "Komarovskaya", "Peresa" and "Park of Peoples' Friendship".

— Today, the tunnel boring machine complexes "Alya" and "Maria" are located in the area of Storozhovskaya Street and near "Komarovskaya," added Ivan Mikulsky. — Regarding the prospects for the development of the underground, we are not deviating from plans: in the near future, plans are to build the fourth (ring) line. The necessary project documentation is already being developed. It is expected that the first section with a length of 6 km will connect "Park of Peoples' Friendship" with the Vnesnyanka microdistrict. On this segment there will be three stations, and in the future the line will head toward "Pushkinskaya".
