Growth in investment activity is the key to balanced regional development. This was stated by Minister of Economy Yuri Chebotar during a working trip to the Maloritsky District of Brest Region, reported BELTA from the ministry's press service.

The head of the Ministry of Economy held a meeting with the labor collective of LLC 'Kapikon' – the country's largest producer of dry milk mixes for young livestock. Employees discussed current economic issues with the minister and received clarifications on pressing topics. Yuri Chebotar reminded that the Day of People's Unity had recently been observed. The essence of this holiday lies in the awareness of a common fate, shared values, and national unity.

"We live in a state that was built through the hard work of many generations. Our task is to continue this line: strengthening the economy and preserving continuity. And success here consists of thousands of daily efforts: when each person works conscientiously in their place, the country becomes stronger," emphasized the head of the ministry.

The minister also familiarized himself with the implementation of investment projects in the region and discussed the current situation and prospective development plans with enterprise managers. Thus, at JSC 'Maloritsky Konservno-Ovoshchesushilny Kombinat', thanks to modernization, it was possible to significantly expand the product range, including increasing the output of baby food, and the product packaging process was robotized. PU 'BelKvartz' of RUP 'Production Association 'Belarusneft', based on the 'Khotislavskoye Zapadnoye' deposit, created a modern full-cycle production, which allowed abandoning imports and ensuring raw material security. The enterprise's products in 2026 are applying for the State Quality Mark. The development strategies of companies 'Bizon' and 'GreenSprice' are aimed at expanding the product line and increasing sales.

"The country's development depends on how dynamically the regions grow. In this, their investment activity plays a key role. We will continue to support promising projects, infrastructure and housing construction, but regions should also work dynamically in this direction," noted Yuri Chebotar.
