On October 22, an expanded meeting of the Bobruisk City Council for the Development of Entrepreneurship was held with representatives of the city’s small and medium‑sized businesses in Berezina. The meeting took place with the participation of the Chairman of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, Maxim Gurin.

The event was held at the “Bobruisk” branch of JSC “Babushkina Krynka.” A tasting was organized for participants to showcase new items in the line of dairy products being produced. They were invited to try familiar flavors as well as new products that have just entered the market.

Opening the meeting, Maxim Gurin highlighted the important contribution of entrepreneurship to the economy and development of Bobruisk: “The development of any city is a complex mechanism where every detail matters. Today, our city has about 11,000 small and medium‑sized business entities that make a significant contribution to the budget. Behind these numbers are not only finances but also job creation, investment, and the development of urban infrastructure.”

Maxim Nikolaevich emphasized the social orientation of the city budget and reminded that in our shared home we must solve tasks together as a unified team. “Our joint interaction between authorities, business entities, and residents should not be that of consumers but of owners, bringing order and beauty for ourselves, making our city better. Only by uniting our efforts, so that everyone feels responsible for the future, can we create a favorable environment and decent living conditions, so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease,” the city head was convinced.

During the meeting in an open dialogue between the authorities and entrepreneurs, there were words of gratitude for the concerned approach, questions that stirred emotions were asked, proposals were made, and discussions about state support and cooperation took place. Maksim Gurin noted that the victories of Bobruisk entrepreneurs in republican contests are a sign of high professionalism. The chairman of the city executive committee spoke about the prospects for the development of Bobruisk, the construction of socially significant facilities and beautification, and the implementation of large investment projects: “Our city has potential, and there is where to strive. Now is the time of opportunities; let us use them for the good, with respect for each other and our traditions. I will always support any initiative that benefits the city and the country. Even in business, there should be patriotism, unity, and understanding.”

Representative of Bobruisk district entrepreneurship Sergey Chetverikov shared his experience of interacting with the executive authorities and expressed his opinion: “I wanted to convey to the audience that the city's businessmen should unite, communicate, and do good: tidy up the area around their enterprise – keep doing it so that everyone finds it pleasant. One wants to make one's homeland beautiful, to bring order to the native land. Voice your thoughts to the authorities – and they will support you. Communicate – and they will help you do good deeds.”

“We are ready for cooperation; the executive authorities always listen to initiatives for the city's development and to problematic issues. For example, in Bobruisk, joint projects with entrepreneurs have already been implemented to install small architectural forms to beautify our city. What was voiced at the meeting today has been noted; tasks will be assigned to the relevant services so that these proposals can be implemented in practice,” said Alla Bohatenko, deputy chairman of the city executive committee.

In a meeting with business representatives, they discussed issues of sanitary safety and violations that could affect the health of the population, introduced the concept of the city's New Year decoration, banking products for business, and advantageous tariffs.
