The next planning meeting at the Lida District Executive Committee chairman Alexander Versotsky began with a pleasant mission – an award ceremony. The head of the district recognized those who ensured the worthy organization of the celebration of Lida City Day. It should be noted: the holiday received high praise from Lida residents and guests of the city, and this is the merit of our Lida people: workers in culture, housing and communal services, healthcare, police, and many others.
The district activists were introduced to the new head of RSUP "sovkhoz 'Lidsky'" Vasily Olesyuk. An experienced manager, he is well known in the Lida region. The chairman of the district executive committee, Alexander Versotsky, wished Vasily Ivanovich success in achieving all set goals.
To work matters... The first instruction of the head of the district concerned the agricultural sector. The task is set clearly: to fulfill the assigned indicators for milk: gross production, marketability, and grade quality.
"Many farms have a colossal reserve. It must be used to the full," emphasized the chairman of the district executive committee, also calling on services to work together with the farms with high quality: the veterinary station, the breeding station, and others.
The meeting focused attention on such an important type of work as stone picking. The head of the district called on the city (industrial enterprises and social sector organizations) to help the countryside.
Alexander Versotsky stressed: "This work is strategic, and ignoring it is fraught with serious problems – equipment breakdowns."
Traditionally, a large block was devoted to restoring order. The sanitary-epidemiological service monitored the Vaversky Village Council last week. Chief State Sanitary Doctor Elena Sadovskaya noted that the main violations concerned unused facilities and their territories. Moreover, a number of them are owned by a private organization.
"Our demand is principled and the same – from both state organizations and private ones," stated Alexander Versotsky, outlining his position.
He called on business entities to seek help if necessary: the mechanism for this has been established in the Lida region, and it is open to those who are ready to restore order.
Special attention was paid to the condition of road shoulders. The head of the district demanded that road services keep under control not only central arteries but also shoulders in rural areas, reminding that this is a matter of paramount importance.
"There should be no such thing as citizens pointing out unmown vegetation or garbage to us. Work for a quality result," he summarized.
As an example, the district head cited the Lida Municipal Unitary Enterprise for Housing and Utilities: the utility workers managed to ensure proper and timely grass mowing in the city. What is stopping the countryside?
In conclusion of the planning meeting, Alexander Versotsky expressed gratitude to the information sector for the worthy representation of the region in the media space and for quality work in countering fakes and information dumps.
