Vladimir Chaus, Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Relations, Sales and Management of the Distribution Network of JSC "BMZ - Management Company of the BMK Holding", told how the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant (BMZ) is forming its order portfolio for hardware products in the near future during a meeting with the staff of one of the enterprise's divisions. This was reported to BELTA at BMZ.
Vladimir Chaus emphasized that there is currently a fairly stable level of demand for spring wire and general-purpose wire. "The price and quality level of BMZ products satisfy our consumers, so we see stable orders for these products in October," he noted.
According to the deputy director general, the situation on the tire market remains difficult. "However, the established partnership relations with our consumers allow us to have stable orders even in these challenging times. Currently, a negotiation campaign is underway for the supply of steel cord and wire in the fourth quarter of this year. The high quality level of our hardware products and the stability of supplies meet the demanding demand from Russian tire manufacturers," he said.
Speaking about prospects for 2027, Vladimir Chaus emphasized that some revival is expected in the tire industry in the first half of the year. "This will allow us to start the next year with somewhat larger order volumes. In the pipe-rolling shop (PRS), a major overhaul has been completed, and from October the shop is reaching optimal capacity utilization," the deputy director general stated.
A program for October has also been formed for other processing stages, and negotiations are underway with strategic partners on forming an order portfolio until the end of the year, added Vladimir Chaus.
JSC "BMZ - Management Company of the BMK Holding" is a high-tech enterprise in the metallurgical industry. Structurally, it consists of productions linked by a single technological chain - steelmaking, rolling, pipe, hardware, and infrastructure shops.
