Investments in fixed capital for January-August of this year in Belarus amounted to 36.9 billion rubles. This was reported by BELTA at the National Statistical Committee.

The Minsk region accounted for 24% of the total volume of invested capital in fixed assets. The share of Minsk city is 22.1% of investments, Brest region - 12.8%, Gomel region - 12.2%, Grodno region - 10.3%, Mogilev region - 9.4%, Vitebsk region - 9.2%.

The structure of investments in fixed capital is as follows: construction works - 50.2%, vehicles, equipment, transport means - 36.8%, other works and expenses - 10.7%, intellectual property objects - 2.3%.

State investments in fixed capital amounted to 40.8%, private - 52.9%, foreign - 6.3%.
