SZAO "BELDZHI" plans to implement the sale of 15 thousand electric vehicles and 5 thousand hybrids by the end of the year. This was reported by the general director of the enterprise, Gennady Svidersky, in the fields of the Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum.

"We plan for the next year for this volume to have a tendency of slight growth, within 50%. If we take our entire model range, that is, also internal combustion engines, production capacities that are limited and currently loaded to 100%," explained Gennady Svidersky.

The general director noted that the volume of car sales primarily depends on their quality, technical specifications, and availability of financial programs. According to him, the enterprise is implementing investment projects for deepening localization of production. In particular, next year it is planned to open a stamping production with investment volume of more than $100 million.

"In general this year we plan to deliver about 65 thousand vehicles to Russia, approximately the same amount in the next year. In the Belarus market about 60 thousand cars, that is 50/50," he added.

Today the XXX Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum began work at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. The four days will be dedicated to modern energy technologies, international cooperation, scientific developments, and practical solutions for the industry. The main event of the first day is the plenary session "Developing Energy – Developing Economy" with the participation of representatives of energy departments of foreign states and international organizations. Artificial intelligence and digitalization of energy, development of electric transport, modernization of power grids, energy efficiency, energy security, and preparation of engineering personnel – these and other topics will unite the business program of the forum. Also planned are international negotiations and signing of documents on cooperation, industry conferences, meetings with experts, the Startup ENERGY competition — 2026, the construction championship, and professional competitions.
