Over most of the country, the topsoil is well moistened, and conditions for sowing winter grain crops are favorable.

Belhydromet reported that in some areas of the northern region, soil remains waterlogged, making field agricultural work difficult there. At the same time, in some southwestern districts where precipitation was less, there is a lack of moisture in the topsoil.

"In the coming days, agrometeorological conditions for harvesting and sowing work will be favorable. However, at the end of the week, frosts are expected in places across the republic, and dug-up agricultural products should not be left uncovered in the fields," the statement said.
