Starting October 1, 2026, "BelarusBank" will restrict the use of its M-Belarusbank application for profiles where there are cards issued to other people. Until this date, clients must independently remove from their account the plastic card of their spouse, parents, or children.

Otherwise, the service will cease to function properly with all cards in the profile, including personal ones: activation and renewal of service packages will no longer be possible.

At the same time, bank accounts and physical plastic cards themselves are not blocked — they can still be used for payments at stores.

What changes and how to proceed

The new requirement applies only to mobile service functionality. In the personal cabinet, cards whose owner is the user himself are allowed. Cards belonging to close relatives — spouse, parent, child — also need to be removed.

If the requirement is ignored, the entire profile will be affected. The owner will be unable to activate and renew service packages.

Procedure for deletion:

Open M-Belarusbank.

Go to "Cards."

Select a foreign card.

Press "Settings" or the pencil icon.

Press "Delete card" ("Delete selected card").

Confirm the operation.

This needs to be done by October 1, 2026. After this date, the presence of foreign cards in the profile will lead to restrictions on the app's functioning across all account cards. Check the "Cards" section in advance.
