Belarusian Railway (БЧ) plans to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan in the fields of freight transportation and industrial cooperation. This was reported by BelTA in the press center of БЧ following the meeting between the head of Belarusian Railway Valery Vyarенич and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus Nurzidin Mamajonov.

The sides paid special attention to issues related to the development of transport and logistics services in the railway transport sector, including the implementation of the project of the block freight train "Slavic Caravan", as well as the issue of increasing the volume of freight traffic between Uzbekistan and Belarus.

The first "Slavic Caravan" block train on the Belarus–Uzbekistan route departed on July 30, 2026. In less than two months, ten block trains have already been dispatched from Belarus to Uzbekistan. An important advantage of this format is the speed of delivery and regularity of movement without reformation or delays en route.

The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation. The head of the Belarusian railway informed about interest in organizing supplies to Uzbekistan of railway products manufactured by БЧ enterprises.
