According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, in January–June 2026 Belarus took second place in the EAEU by rates of growth of nominal wages, falling only behind Kyrgyzstan.

According to EEC statistics, in January–June 2026 compared to the same period last year, monthly nominal wages increased in all states – members of the EAEU. The highest growth rates were noted in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Russia.

Belarus showed a nominal wage increase of 113.2%, overtaken only by Kyrgyzstan with its 127.5%. Russia added 112.7%, Armenia 105.5%, while Kazakhstan only 100.3%. Meanwhile, in Kyrgyzstan, the lowest level of wages in dollar equivalent was recorded and the highest index of consumer price growth.

If we strip income growth from inflation, the picture looks as follows. By rates of growth of monthly real wages, adjusted for the consumer price index on goods and services, in January–June 2026 Kyrgyzstan leads with an indicator of 115.3%. Belarus takes second place with 107.5%.

Taken together, these data show that Belarus demonstrates steady positive dynamics in the labor market and in the income sphere, outperforming most EAEU states in a number of key indicators.
