Food supplies from Belarus to Saint Petersburg are increasing annually. This was learned by journalists from the General Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Saint Petersburg, Nikolai Rogozhnik.
Nikolai Rogozhnik reported that a fifth flagship store "Belarusian Village" recently opened in the center of Saint Petersburg, where Belarusian delicacies, new products, Nemanskoye glass, and light industry goods are on display.
"On average, our food positions grow by about 10-12% annually, — noted Nikolai Rogozhnik. — Saint Petersburg annually signs supply plans with Minselkhozprod. They are being met, colleagues do not let us down. Recently, the question was considered to increase volumes of fruit and vegetable products in cooperation with the Brest Regional Department of Agriculture, to sign long-term contracts, so our partners have the opportunity to accept long-term supplies for sale in the network, potatoes, carrots, and other agricultural crops that we grow."
Interaction is also developing in other areas. Supply of passenger, fire and other equipment is being worked out, which Saint Petersburg actively acquires. "At the city's order, a 52-meter ladder was manufactured — the tallest one in use in the region today. In addition, the city ordered from AMKODOR a new type of crane — a compact one, considering the specifics of narrow streets and courtyards. On Friday, October 23, at the 'Russian Industrialist' (international forum-exhibition) in Saint Petersburg, the first samples were handed over. The city tested these machines, and the tall ones received positive feedback on our equipment," —
