Belarus plans to increase the volume of equipment supplied to Dagestan in 2027. Industry Minister Andrey Kuznetsov emphasized in an interview with the TV channel "First Information" the high efficiency of joint work with Russia. The "INNOPROM. Belarus" exhibition showed that we are on the right track. The number of delegations from the Russian side has increased.
Special attention is being paid to expanding the geography of supplies. Andrey Kuznetsov named Dagestan as a promising direction. This topic is interesting; we have discussed supplying tractors from MTZ there. They plan to update their fleet, so they set themselves this task.
In response to the question about the structure of demand in the Russian market, the minister said that Belarusian industry responds flexibly to changing consumer requests. If only half a year ago the main focus was on equipment with internal combustion engines, then today priorities are shifting to:
Belarus is working on interests in all three directions.
The minister drew attention to the fact that the Belarusian side is ready to offer both equipment with internal combustion engines for traditional and alternative types of fuel, as well as electric transport — electric buses, trolleybuses with extended range.
Andrey Kuznetsov reminded that sanctions have not led to the shutdown of any enterprise in Belarus or Russia. Continuing import substitution and localization.
Among the key integration projects the minister named the mechanical engineering program with participation of the Minsk Gear Factory and "Gomselmash" for replacing imported reducers with domestic analogues. In the Union State, 24 projects are being implemented, which will give results by 2030.
