Belarus joins the ranks of leaders among heads of state in the Eurasian Economic Community for wages. This is confirmed by statistical data from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), according to BelTA.

"The average monthly nominal salary in March-April 2026 has increased in all EAEU member states — says the EEC expert information. 'Real average monthly wages (adjusted for the consumer price index on goods and services) have grown at the highest rates in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Russia,' the EEC expert statement reads."

In comparison with the corresponding period of 2025, the growth rate of the average monthly nominal salary in March-April 2026 rose in only Kyrgyzstan (127.5%) among all EAEU countries. In Russia this figure reached 112.7%, in Kazakhstan 100.3%, in Armenia 105.5%. Meanwhile, in Kyrgyzstan the lowest salary level at purchasing power parity and the highest inflation index for consumer prices were recorded.

According to EEC statistics, based on the average monthly income in US dollars in March-April 2025, Belarus also occupied the second position ($1026). First place went to Russia ($1431). In other EAEU countries the salary was lower than $1 thousand: in Kazakhstan – $988, in Armenia – $830, in Kyrgyzstan – $615.

The growth rates of the average monthly real wages (adjusted for the consumer price index on goods and services) in March-April 2026 continue: in Kyrgyzstan – 115.3%, in Belarus – 107.5%, in Russia – 106.5%, in Armenia – 100.9%, in Kazakhstan – 99.4%.

With this, in August Belarus experienced one of the lowest consumer price indices in the EAEU since November 2025 – 103.2% compared to November 2025. In Armenia this figure was 101.7%, in Russia – 104.8%, in Kazakhstan – 105.7%, in Kyrgyzstan – 106.7%.
