Belarus is open to investors ready for long-term mutually beneficial partnership. This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Economy Ivan Zhejnovets at the plenary session of the V International Forum on Economic Cooperation in Minsk.

Ivan Zhejnovets reminded potential investors of Belarus's main competitive advantages. These include its advantageous geographical location at the intersection of the North–South and East–West transport corridors, free access to the more than 180‑million market of the EAEU, and favorable conditions for investment.

"For investors focused on high‑tech exports and import substitution, preferential regimes apply in the special economic zones (SEZ) and in the Great Stone industrial park, as well as flexible mechanisms of investment legislation," noted the First Deputy Minister.

Moreover, Ivan Zhejnovets counted the country's human capital among its main advantages. "Belarusians are educated, hardworking people, ready to work effectively and master new competencies," he summed up.
