In Belarus, the expansion of domestic goods assortment in stores was discussed. By the ninth month of 2026, the share of domestic goods in retail trade reached 55%. There is a task to increase this figure, including through expanding the assortment of Belarusian products. This is being discussed at a seminar of the Ministry of Anti-monopoly Regulation and Trade on November 5th.

One of the measures by the department promoting domestic goods on the internal market is the norm for the presence of Belarusian goods for sale. This is the minimum that must be presented in a store depending on its format and area.

Tatiana Shevtsova, first deputy minister of anti-monopoly regulation and trade of Belarus:

"The assortment lists have already been provided in accordance with the MART decree. As of today, we are even considering the question of expanding this list, because we see that new production is appearing among us. In particular, a production facility for children's nutrition recently opened in the Dzerzhinsky district, in the village of Stanokovo. We understand that the volumes of our producers are growing, and we can to a greater extent supply the domestic market with domestic goods."

As noted at the meeting, great responsibility in promoting Belarusian goods lies with retailers and manufacturers.
