Several products from the Russian OAO “Sukssunsky Opto‑Mechanical Plant” were immediately placed on the State Standards blacklist. Among them were protective goggles and a welding shield. Here’s the danger they could pose.
It turned out that the closed protective goggles bearing the ROSOM3 trademark, series PANORAMA, model ZP2 PANORAMA, article 30 211, do not adequately protect against non‑ionizing radiation — while the spectral transmittance coefficient should not exceed 0.0003 % for the frames, the actual figure was 8.84 %.
A similar situation exists with the protective face shield for welders bearing the ROSOM3 trademark, series NN, model NN‑10 PREMIER Favorit, article 51 364. In no condition should any light pass through the light filter of the shield. Yet light penetrates from the right side of the body.
A towel produced by LLC “Nordtex” was also banned; it is supposed to absorb at least 80 mm of moisture in 30 minutes, but it only managed to absorb 73 mm in half an hour. The products were prohibited from sale.
