Positive dynamics are developing in the trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Nicaragua. This was noted at a meeting between Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryženkov and Minister-Advisor to the Nicaraguan Co-Presidents on investment, trade, and international cooperation Laureano Ortega Murillo, reported by BELTA citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue and the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Nicaragua," the foreign ministry reported. "They exchanged views on a number of current issues on the bilateral agenda and outlined a plan of activities for the near future, including holding the next session of the Belarus‑Nicaragua Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation."
The meeting took place during the visit of the Nicaraguan delegation to Minsk to participate in the work of the II International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus".
