Being Closer to the Customer

This is precisely the principle on which the organization of trade in rural areas is built on the territory of the Budy-Koshelevsky district.

Today, during a working trip to the Vileyka district, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko paid special attention to the topic of organizing trade services in rural areas. The head of state demanded that residents of remote settlements be provided with a wide assortment of goods. "The village must be served with dignity, if we want something from the village," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

According to information from the economics department of the district executive committee, as of today the district's trade network is the most important artery of the economy, daily providing comfort to more than 27 thousand residents. As of June 1, 120 business entities operate in the retail trade sector in rural areas. Trade services for the population are carried out by 180 stores and pavilions, 14 mobile shops that travel out three times a week, and 6 mobile postal service branches.

To ensure quality trade services for residents, work is being carried out to expand and restore the existing trade network, increase the efficiency of its functioning, and fully satisfy consumer demand. In the current year, stores in Tserkovye and Novaya Gusevitsa resumed operations, and the opening of new trade facilities of Bozhenkov Plus LLC in Duravichi and Potapovka is planned. In 2024 alone and the elapsed period of 2026, 16 trade facilities were commissioned and resumed operations. Social standards in the trade sector are being observed: provision of retail space reaches 476.2 square meters per 1 thousand residents against the standard of 450 square meters, and 170 settlements, including the most remote ones, are continuously supplied with goods thanks to developed infrastructure and mobile shops.

To see everything with their own eyes, correspondents of "Avangard" visited trade facilities in rural settlements.

A wide assortment, including domestically produced goods, friendly service, and proper sanitary and living conditions – all this distinguishes the trade facilities of Budy-Koshelevshchina.
