For the ZAO "Gories", the current agricultural year is marked by a significant victory. The agricultural enterprise has been recognized as the winner of the regional exhibition-competition "Land Use". Winning such an award on the main stage of "Dozhinko-2026" is a great honor and a predictable result of colossal labor. About the importance of involving vacant lands in circulation, director Vasily VITYUNOV explains.

As Vasily Vladimirovich notes, land is the country's greatest wealth. It is important that fields and agricultural lands do not become overgrown or idle but are used effectively. One must treat the land with care, maintain order, and take care of entrusted territories.

"For us, winning the exhibition-competition, like any award, was an unexpected surprise," says Vasily Vladimirovich. "We did not go toward it purposefully, but simply worked systematically in this direction. And we received a worthy result," he continues.

A nomination for "Land Use" is recognition of the highest culture of agriculture. In response to a question about where order begins, the director of the agricultural enterprise answers confidently: "From love for the land, for the place where you live. People perform the work, those indifferent to their region who sincerely care about the fate of abandoned territories."

It is worth noting that much effort was put into this season. 99 hectares of land were returned to crop rotation through the involvement of unused areas. Financial resources of the enterprise were invested in improvement works—over 30 thousand rubles. The activities covered both small settlements and agrotowns. Order was established in Gories, Kamenskoye, Shavnev, Lebedovo, Nikodimovo, Kurganye, Nikulino, Turishchevo, Sorokopuhad, Malakhi and others. Specialists of the agricultural enterprise and JSC "PMK-87 Construction" carried out the designated volumes of work. On plots freed from wild vegetation and dilapidated buildings, rye and corn were sown.

Residents of the villages where order was established sincerely thank everyone involved in this beneficial cause. This is large-scale joint work by the agricultural enterprise, the forestry department, and a deputy committee under strict control of the rural land development bureau. Some assistance is also provided to farmers by village elders.

"To tidy up once and for all will not work. It is systematic work that constantly requires attention, investment of funds and resources," emphasized Vasily Vityunov. "And today the process does not stop: right now a labor detachment is engaged in Sokolovo."

According to Vasily Vitunov, 2027 will be a special year for Gorskaya land. For the agro-town of Gory will host the district holiday of village workers "Dozhinki". Moreover, the settlement will celebrate its 530th anniversary. That is why special attention will be paid to the culture of land use, so that residents and guests of the Gorsky village council sincerely rejoice in the beauty and well-kept state of their native land.

The prestigious regional award is a confident start to large-scale preparations for future holidays. The example of SZAO "Gory" proves: when true owners, who sincerely love their small homeland, take charge, the land comes alive and repays care with generous harvests and impeccable beauty.
