A resident of Tsyolkovskogo Street, Alesya GUTOVA, called the editorial office of the district newspaper to express gratitude on behalf of the population living in the part of the city known as Orshanka to the district leadership for solving an important transport issue for them.

The woman said that in April this year she and other residents went to the chairman of the district executive committee, Nikolai Orlyonok, for a personal reception of citizens. The collective appeal concerned the organization of a public transport route to the 'Slavianochka' store. They asked that a bus (or minibus) turn off from Yakubovskogo Street (in front of the Orshan cemetery) and proceed to the trading facility of an individual entrepreneur. On the same day, the district head, together with the road safety commission of the district executive committee, went to the indicated location to analyze the situation with the responsible services.

  • For people living on the outskirts or far from the city's key transport arteries, public transport is very important," emphasized Alesya Alexandrovna. "- Because when bus stops are located at a considerable distance, each exit from home turns into a long journey, which is especially felt in bad weather. And recently a new route was opened in regular city communication. For us, residents of the remote microdistrict, this has become a long-awaited event.

We sincerely thank the district head and everyone involved in solving our pressing issue. Now, thanks to the transport link, children, middle-aged people, and pensioners will be able to reach their destination faster in the morning, at lunchtime, and in the evening.
