A work shift is 12 hours, but Snezhana Kolyada's chores don't end there. She and her husband, Alexander Demyanovich, who works as a machine operator at the KSUP, run a large farm – goats, rabbits, pigs, chickens, ducks. Add to that a garden, a vegetable patch, a flowerbed. Not to mention four cats and three dogs, a Spitz and strays. Plenty of cares!

"Consider that we are fully providing for our own 'food security'," says Snezhana Nikolaevna. "We're not used to it, we've been raised that way since childhood. We dug up 5 tons of potatoes – for ourselves, and for our parents, and for our sister. My personal farm is my relaxation. And my main joy is my third-grade daughter, Stefania. The school year has just started, and she's already brought home her first straight-A grades in Russian and math…"

Elena Volkova always wanted to be a driver. It so happened that 33 years ago she was offered a tractor at the KSUP "Sudkovo" – she agreed to try and stayed.

"They offered me a combine harvester too. No, I say, I have enough of my own work: baling and baling. I have a character like this: I like everything to be in order, clean and neat. Both in the field and at home," Elena Viktorovna tells about herself in the breaks between baling straw with the baler. "I get up at six, go on shift at seven, and get home closer to 8 p.m. I service my own machine, but if anything, the guys help without questions. My tractor is new – a 'Belarus-82', they gave it to me at the 'Harvest Festival' last year."

Elena Viktorovna has two sons, Alexander and Pavel, and a daughter, Daria. And seven grandchildren: Alina, Milana, Evgenia, Alisa, Sonya, Artem, and Dmitry. The grandchildren are proud of their grandmother, saying, "You're the best in the world!" The younger ones ask to ride with her, even if just a little bit. "Well, just a tiny bit, from the house to the garage," Elena Volkova sometimes agrees, she who is always cautious about safety. In general, such attention to her beloved profession is, of course, pleasant. It's good if the love for the native land is passed down by inheritance.

"We didn't expect it at all! Thank you for not forgetting!" – these words of gratitude are passed on by the participants of the harvesting campaign in the Gomel region from their workplaces to the company "Evrotorg".
