The solemn procession of the holding's youth, the awarding of the best employees, and the festive program featuring local groups and guests from Minsk and Vitebsk – that is how today's day will be remembered as part of the Machine Builder's Day celebrations.

As part of the Machine Builder's Day celebrations, a traditional solemn procession of the holding's youth took place at the Gomselmash stadium. The column was accompanied by the creative group 'Baraben', which came from Vitebsk. The procession participants walked through the territory associated with the enterprise, after which the official part began.

At one o'clock in the afternoon, the solemn opening took place. The best employees of the Gomselmash holding were awarded for their professional achievements. Honorary Gomselmash workers were also named separately. This status is not given to everyone, so its conferral is considered especially significant for the team.

The concert program was opened by the creative groups of the Palace of Culture. The cover band 'Radio Time' performed first, including the group's leader and soloist Dmitry Korolkov, deputy head of the instrument-making department of the casting and norms plant. Other enterprise employees also play in the band. After them, the rock group 'Glintveyn' took the stage

She added that the title of honorary Gomselmash worker is awarded infrequently and is perceived in the collective as a high evaluation. The manager also told that "Radio Time" is considered a city collective, but a significant part of its composition consists of employees of "Gomselmash". The same applies to the group "Glintvayn".

After the main numbers, a festive disco was awaited by the audience. It was held by the event's permanent partners — radio representatives who have been coming to Machine Builder Day for more than one year. Organizers emphasize that the evening will end lively and prolonged.

The party took place in an atmosphere familiar for such corporate events: the official part was replaced by a concert, then by a dance program. On the stadium, food points were operating, and places for spectators were equipped. Many came with families. For the holding company's workers, this was a day when they could see colleagues not only in workshops but also on stage.

The show "Mama Likes" occupied the central place in the concert program. The artists performed several blocks combining songs and dance numbers. The audience reacted to familiar motifs and supported the performance with applause. For the team from Minsk, this was not their first visit to Gomel, so communication with local people went without particular awkwardness.

Organizers emphasized that several units of the Cultural Palace participated in the preparation. In addition to the main ensembles, technical services were called upon to provide sound and light on the open platform. The weather on the day of the event allowed the program to be carried out without rescheduling.

In Gomel, such holidays for machine builders are held regularly. This time the focus was placed on the participation of the enterprise's own creative forces and invited collectives related to other plants in the industry. "Mama Likes" performed as guests, with whom "Gomselmash
