President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will make a working trip to Logoysk District of Minsk Region, where he will visit LLC "AMKODOR-LESMASH," reports BELTA.

The Head of State will be informed about the production of forestry machinery in full supply of the country and the development of the "AMKODOR" holding, forestry exploitation.

Alexander Lukashenko will familiarize himself with the production and samples of manufactured machines. The Head of State will also practically demonstrate the operation of the machine complex - domestic harvester and forwarder.

Currently, the products of the "AMKODOR" holding fully meet the main needs of the forest industry, ensuring technological sovereignty of the sector. The nomenclature is supplemented by equipment from the MTZ holding, which together allows completely supplying the country with domestic machines.

Based on priorities of the Program for Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2026-2030, a strategy for the development of the "AMKODOR" holding has been formed, including the development of forestry machinery. One of the key goals of the strategy is mastering the production of rational nomenclature of machines and equipment for forestry, meeting modern requirements and technologies.

At present, the model series of forest industry machinery "AMKODOR" covers key operations - from tree haulage to trailage - and includes four harvesters and four forwarders. In addition, currently a universal modular construction forest harvesting harvester with a 4x4 wheel formula is being created, which will perform both main cutting and cutover cuts.

Key units and aggregates are produced by enterprises of the holding, which ensures technological independence from foreign manufacturers and a rational degree of localization.

Thus, "AMKODOR" has formed a complete range of machine models that closes all main technological operations of the forestry cycle. The lineup primarily consists of heavy and medium-class machines, which is dictated by the needs of the forest industry. The segment of light harvesters for passing cuts, where the volume of demand is insignificant, remains with "MTZ-HOLDING," which excludes duplication of production by domestic manufacturers.

To carry out the complex works on care of seedlings (thinning, thinning) "AMKODOR" has mastered the production of small-sized machines, previously purchased abroad.

Currently, the production capacities of the AMCODOR holding allow for the manufacture of 140–150 units of logging equipment per year, including 120 units of machines produced by AMCODOR-LESMASH. In further plans: development of own competencies, expansion of the product range, and completion of the commissioning of all production capacities, bringing the annual output volume up to 250 machines.
