General Director of BKM Holding Mikhail Symanovich revealed the first details of the ambitious project at a press conference, noting that the main goal of the innovations is to increase safety and reduce accidents.

The driver will remain in the cab, but will shift from being a pilot to a sort of onboard engineer: providing backup and monitoring. Full driverless operation should eliminate the human factor, minimize risks, and make the schedule rock‑solid predictable.
