Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Doroфеichik met with the Ambassador of Mozambique, José Mateus Muaria Catupfa. The main topic of the negotiations was the expansion of bilateral interaction in the agro-industrial sphere.

The structure of trade has undergone changes. If in 2025 the basis of trade turnover consisted only of fruit imports, then in seven months of 2026 it grew almost 16-fold. Belarus entered the Mozambican market with new positions: poultry meat, canned goods, wheat flour, and skimmed milk powder.

Africa values Belarus as a reliable partner. My task is to be a linking link, to facilitate the conclusion of agreements and the expansion of supplies, — said Mr. Ambassador.
