On the eve of Unity Day, a unique historical route was launched in Grodno. An unusual retro run was organized on the popular trolleybus route No. 9. During the ride, passengers can be transported to the key events of September 17, 1939. The guide on this interactive journey is Yevgeny Matsuta, a history teacher at Secondary School No. 5.

“Our tour allows people to touch history right during an ordinary ride,” Yevgeny Matsuta noted. “For me, this is the first experience of its kind. Such a journey turned out to be exciting and useful. Public transport is the best way to convey history to people and explain the importance of Unity Day. An unfamiliar audience does not scare me. Working in school gives good experience communicating with an audience, and that helps a lot. I love Grodno very much; I feel like a fish in water here and I tell about what I see.
