Belarus will provide Mongolia with documentation for the construction of a dairy farm complex.
Belarus will provide Mongolia with documentation for the construction of a dairy farm complex with a capacity of 1,024 head of cattle and a full technological cycle. This was discussed during negotiations between Belarusian Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov and a Mongolian delegation headed by Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Tsagaankhuugijn Idertbat during the Belarusian-Mongolian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food press service.
The parties signed an agreement to provide design and estimate documentation for the construction of the MTC. This project has already received a positive conclusion from the state construction expertise in Belarus and will now be adapted to local conditions and climatic norms of Mongolia. The expansion of agro-industrial cooperation between Belarus and Mongolia goes beyond classical trade, transforming into deep technological exchange, the press service noted.
The results of trade and economic cooperation show that the export of food products and agricultural raw materials has increased. The dairy segment demonstrates the greatest dynamics: for example, the total volume of deliveries of dry skimmed milk has increased 2.3 times. A confident growth is also recorded in other categories: the export of flour confectionery products has increased by 63%, malt extract by more than 66%, and chocolate by almost 13%.
Emphasizing the importance of joint work, Yuri Gorlov noted: "The trade turnover between our countries is low, however, this year over eight months, the export of food products and agricultural raw materials from Belarus to Mongolia has grown and amounted to 117% of the level of the same period last year. We must support and build on it," the minister summarized.
