A new variety of soybeans called Ayolanta has been created for the climate of Brestchyna: high protein and resistance to diseases

In Belarus, a new soybean variety called "Ayolanta" has been developed and included in the State Register of varieties of agricultural plants. The variety is specifically designed for the climatic conditions of the Brest, Gomel, and Grodno regions and is capable of competing with the best European analogs.

What makes the variety interesting is that "Ayolanta" belongs to the indeterminate type, meaning the plant continues to grow and form new beans until harvest. This process lasts for about four months. The soybean grows up to 120 cm in height, branches abundantly, and forms beans at a relatively high level. Due to this, the variety is well-suited for cultivation in the southern and western regions of Belarus.

High yield and quality are also notable features of "Ayolanta". The potential yield of this variety reaches 5 tons per hectare, which is a significant indicator for domestic breeding and confirms that the variety is adapted to Belarusian latitudes. The protein content in the seeds reaches 41%, and the fat content is 22%. The high protein content makes the soybean a valuable raw material for feed and food industries, while the fat content is important for the quality of future oil.

One of the main advantages of "Ayolanta" is its strong immunity to fungal and bacterial infections. This allows for reducing the risk of crop losses and minimizing farmers' expenses on crop protection. Additionally, the beans of this variety do not crack or fall to the ground under the influence of wind or rain. Such resistance is especially important during the harvest period.

The variety was developed taking into account the climate characteristics of the Brest, Gomel, and Grodno regions. These regions are distinguished by milder conditions and are suitable for soybean cultivation. The variety can also be in demand for the production of green feed and balancing diets with protein during silage harvesting.

The emergence of "Ayolanta" expands the possibilities for Belarusian farmers and agricultural enterprises to grow high-protein crops. The variety can become the basis for developing a feed base, oil production, and soybean processing within the country. The inclusion of the variety in the State Register means that it has passed the necessary tests and is allowed for use in agricultural production.
