On September 27 in Belarus they celebrate Machine Builder's Day. For Grodno's "Belkard" today is a special day – the enterprise marks not only production successes but also the birth of a new family of machine builders. Dozens of employees gathered on Tizengauza square to congratulate colleagues on an important life step.

The main heroes of the festive day were the young and beautiful specialists of the plant. The groom Alexander Ablazev works as an electrical engineer at the enterprise. The bride Svetlana – from today also Ablazeva – holds a responsible position as deputy head of the chief metrologist. The fates of the young people were brought together by work and... the table meal.

"Svetlana has already worked at the factory for two years, and I just got hired. Colleagues invited her to the canteen, that's where I saw her. We met over a common table, we liked each other. And then – there are many events at our plant – carting, turfs, kayaking, lots of activities. We started going together, and somehow everything fell into place. In July I proposed to Svetlana, and decided not to delay with the wedding – Alexander shares."

The couple admits: there could have been no other day for their marriage.
